The Five Squatting Runs in Old Nathalia Shire

This book was written for the preservation of a series of articles recently published in the Red Gum Courier on the five squatting runs in the old Nathalia Shire which encompassed the area in the shape of a wedge between the Murray and Goulburn Rivers.

The wedge was home to the Bangerang tribes for at least 40,000 years and may be as long as 60,000 years.  Before the intrusion of explorers and squatters the aborigines of this area with its lakes, swamps, creeks, forests and grassy plains, thrived on an abundance of food already at hand in the form of fish, kangaroos, emus, possums, snakes, lizards etc. also roots, yams and other native vegetables; they were more sedentary than other indigenous folks.  Everything to sustain their way of life was readily available, and if not, they traded with other tribes for commodities such as stone.  Once the intrusion began the Bangerang culture changed forever.  The shock gradually eroded away their way of life as the remnants of the tribes began living near and around the squatters’ homesteads.  Bangerang hunting grounds were diminished both in size and the availability of food as cattle and sheep were depastured on the squatting runs. Early on, the Bangerang did not take their loss lightly; some confrontations did take place when sheep and cattle were “stolen”.

Great Product
Although I have a medium dark skin I've lived through various problems associated with sunburn.I was looking for a product and I saw this one on Amazon then I decided to give it a try.I'm really happy with the results.I bought 70spf to use on my face.It is really light, it lets my skin to breath through it.It smells really good.It is easy to apply. It doesn't leave whitness. All in all I really recommend this prduct !

I love that it's a dry-touch and that my face doesn't feel greasy all day. However, it almost dries too fast and it makes it harder to rub into your skin. I don't like feeling like I'm "tugging" on my face when I put it on.

good stuff
I like this sun block. It doesn't sting my eyes and it seems to be effective. I am out in the sun a lot and I don't burn with this on, so it must work. It's not greasy so I use it under make up.

Easy to apply, neutral smell, and lasts long
I usually hate sunscreen, but this brand is acceptable. It doesn't leave a terrible waxy feeling on your skin, and it's easy to apply on your face. Also, it doesn't have an overpowering smell, which is nice.

Dry-touch but still uncomfortable to wear
It didn't rub in like regular sunblock, I suppose because the of the 'dry-touch'. But I could still feel it on my skin and was a little bit itchy. If you continue to rub it actually kind of peels away-then obviously negating putting it on in the first place. :(
