Bright ruby-red with excellent clarity, reflecting the wine's juicy, lighter style and quality Clare Valley fruit.
Aroma
Distinctive varietal character of juicy fresh cherries and red plums leads the bouquet, underlaid by a subtle toasty French oak perfume and roasted coffee beans creating an inviting and complex aromatic profile. The aromatics are vibrant and expressive, showcasing exceptional fruit quality.
Palate
The palate displays juicy fresh cherries and red plums with smooth tannins, a hint of savoury spice, and a long lingering finish. The Tempranillo grapes from Rogers, Sheoaks West, and Fechner Family's Sheoaks vineyards were fermented for a week on skins with careful extraction to deliver a juicier and lighter style. Following fermentation, the wine was gently pressed off skins and matured using French oak before blending and bottling.
Mirroring central Spain's climate, Clare Valley's warm summer days and cool nights make this variety shine. One of the most popular wines in the restaurant, it matches with just about any food. Suitable for drinking now to ten years of age.
