When to Replace
- The surface burner clicks but fails to ignite.
- Ignition is intermittent or weak.
- The spark electrode is visibly cracked, burned, or broken.
- There is no clicking sound and no spark when the burner is turned on.
Installation Tips
- Before installation, disconnect the range from its power source and shut off the gas supply valve.
- Access the igniter by removing the burner grate, cap, and base. You may need to lift the main cooktop.
- Carefully detach the wire connector from the old igniter.
- Remove the old igniter from its mounting bracket or clip.
- Install the new igniter, ensuring the electrode tip is properly positioned over the burner holes.
- Reconnect the wire and reassemble the cooktop components.

I have a 1999 Toyota Sienna LE
The starter was an almost an exact fit. The only difference was the rubber cover for the ground screw. The original started has a slight different design. Easy fix was the remove the old one and replaced it on the new starter.
The fit was perfect. Used youtube video on starter replacement for my Sienna which was clear and east to follow. Took 2 hours to replace the starter.
Waited a few weeks to see ensure the starter was working before I posted a review. The starter sound strong as the engine kicks over. Looks to be working fine. The dealers would have wanted $600 to replace the started. Some online poster says these Amazon knockoff are cheap and won't work. It started and time will tell how long it last. Its a 25 year old car. If I get another year or two use out of it, I'm good.

Almost a perfect fit for 2002 Avalon
The only difference from the old starter to this one is the old hardware had notches for the electrical connection and the old starter had a longer terminal post so I couldn’t swap the hardware successfully.
Instead of returning it because I don’t want to walk to work again I decided to grind a notch on the new starter.
Lucky for me it worked and I don’t show up with my uniform sweaty in a retail job anymore
