It helps soothe soreness and reduce inflammation from issues such as pharyngitis, aphthous (mouth) ulcers, oral ulceration due to radiation therapy, and post-dental procedures. It can also be used after tonsillectomy (as advised) or where the throat is irritated, e.g., following use of a naso-gastric tube.

How it works

Difflam contains benzydamine hydrochloride 0.15% w/v, a topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic that targets pain and swelling directly at the site of discomfort.

Directions for Use

• Use as directed on the product label or by your pharmacist/doctor.
• Common guidance: Rinse or gargle with 15ml for 20–30 seconds, then spit out. Do not swallow.
• May be repeated every 1.5–3 hours as needed.
• If stinging or sensitivity occurs, you may dilute with an equal volume of water.

• Adults and adolescents. Not usually recommended for young children unless advised by a healthcare professional.
