Aquascape Construction Epoxy

D-D Aquascape Construction Epoxy is used for bonding live rock, positioning corals, creating clam bases, repairing leaks, and various other applications in saltwater and freshwater aquariums.

Aquascape is a two-part epoxy putty that has been specially developed by D-D for use in saltwater and freshwater aquariums and other underwater applications.

In the marine aquarium, it is ideal for bonding together live rock to form complicated structures and avoiding rock falls caused by turbo snails, sea urchins and strong current flow, for preparing coral frags and for creating clam bases to prevent them from being attacked and ultimately killed by bristle worms. In addition, it can be used to repair leaky pipework, broken equipment or for bonding items to the aquarium glass.

Aquascape has been developed to be stickier than most epoxies so that it bonds easier to wet substrates and the purple version has been formulated to dry underwater to the colour of coralline algae. This makes it initially more natural within a marine aquarium during the period before being encrusted with true coralline algae. Note however that when cured out of the water the colour will be darker representing the deep red coralline algae colour.

For freshwater aquariums and for repairing liners and preformed ponds, the Rock Grey version is perhaps more suitable however both colours can be used in any environment.

Take care not to overmanipulate underwater, if the aquarium water starts to become cloudy stop using it immediately and allow the water to clear.

Suggested Uses:

  • Bonding rock to rock and making rock bases during aquascaping.
  • Bonding and positioning corals within the aquarium.
  • Fragging corals to frag bases.
  • Making clam bases.
  • Repairing leaking pipework and equipment.
  • Plus 1001 other general uses in the aquarium and about the home.

A DESERVED 5-STAR DOG TOY!
Color: Regular color
WOW! It’s rare that I ever give 5-stars, but here we are! My hound dog officially turned 1 a few days ago and this was one of her presents. Being an “aggressive chewer” is an understatement, and she’s officially met her match. These rope toys are beyond tough and sturdy, but made well for chewing without being dangerous. She has so much fun swinging them around, playing tug-o-war, and just lying down giving them her playful attention. It’s fun hearing her growl as she tries her best to show the rope who’s boss. If you’ve got a medium-to-large sized pup that loves to play, let ‘em know they’re a good girl/boy with these extremely durable and affordable rope toys!

good throw toy
Color: Regular color
My dog really likes this toy, but be aware that when they start to tug, it comes apart you will need to pick up the strings so they do not swallow them

Dog Rope Toy
Color: Regular color
These dog rope toys are a great value, especially since several come in one pack. My dog is a black Labrador and a very aggressive chewer, so she goes through toys quickly. Each rope typically lasts her a few weeks to a month, which is impressive given how strong her bite is. She absolutely loves these and plays with them constantly. The ropes do eventually come apart, and once the braid starts to unravel, I make sure to throw them out to prevent her from swallowing any strands. That said, these toys are very effective at keeping her busy and away from chewing household items like pillows or sofa cushions—which is a much cheaper alternative! Overall, these are durable, affordable, and entertaining toys for strong chewers, as long as you supervise your dog during playtime.

Cane Corso Approved (Eventually Destroyed)
Color: Regular color
I bought the Forfon Tough & Strong Dog Toy for Aggressive Chewers for my Cane Corsos — and if you know Corsos, you know they don’t “chew.” They conduct demolition projects. First impression? Solid. Thick material, strong stitching, felt durable in hand. I actually had hope. Dangerous, I know. For about two weeks, this toy held its own. Tug sessions? Survived. Full jaw clamp tests? Passed. Backyard wrestling matches? Still standing. Then… week three happened. Let’s just say my dogs eventually discovered its weakness and turned it into modern art. But honestly? For aggressive chewers of this size and strength, lasting two weeks is basically a gold medal performance. Pros: ✔ Truly tougher than most toys we’ve tried ✔ Kept my dogs entertained ✔ Withstood serious chewing pressure Cons: • Not indestructible (especially against Cane Corso-level jaws) • Eventually surrendered to persistence If you have medium to strong chewers, this will probably last a long time. If you have giant, determined jaw athletes like mine, expect a respectable lifespan — not immortality. 4 stars because nothing survives forever in this house… but this one fought bravely. 🐶💪
