Description:
We live in a mutilated world and our humanity seems irrevocably damaged. Many critics suggest we have reached the end of humanity. In this challenging book, Ken Plummer suggests that such claims may be premature; instead, what we need is a new transformative understanding of humanity.
Critical Humanism critically reflects upon and reimagines humanism for the twenty-first century. What is now required is a fresh, wide-ranging imaginary of an open, worldly, plural and caring humanity. It needs to take a critical stance towards older, often divisive ideas of what it means to be human, while reconnecting to a wider understanding of the rich diversity of life in the pluriverse.
In an age of post- and transhumanist turns, Plummer provides a personal, political and passionate call for thinkers, researchers and activists to not turn their backs on humanism. We need instead to create a vital new political imaginary of being human in a connected planet. We simply cannot afford to be anti-human or posthuman. Restoring our belief in humanity has never been more important for edging towards a better world for all.

Perfect for on the go use.
The Lisen Wireless charger is perfect for on the go pop in and pop out when needed. It’s very functional and only needs one hand use to lock or unlock. It fits perfectly on the air vent. It’s look sleek and well made. The charging speed may be slow unfortunately.

Good, except for release button placement
This works well. It’s easy to install, charges your phone well, and mounts to the vent securely. Simply set your phone on it and squeeze the arms to grip it. I like that it’s manual, so you can open and close it even without power.
However, the release button is centered on the back, which means that to press/squeeze it, you have to put your thumb right on the middle of your phone screen. It can interfere with whatever I’m using my phone for at the time or just wake it up unnecessarily. Not a huge deal, but it would be great if they moved the button to the side so you can squeeze side to side to release the grip, rather than front to back.

Great product if you’d like to talk and keep your phone charged at the same time
I really really like these. I have two one in my truck one in my car I like it because I can put my headphones in while it’s being charged so I can talk on long drives like four hour drives and the battery never goes dead and I have the ability to utilize the plug-in. I don’t like Wi-Fi. I have a tendency to lose them so I like old-fashioned wire it just is my preference.
