Rising from a rounded base sprouting clusters of smaller red capped fungi, the stool captures the imaginative spirit of mid-century French jardins — where sculptural, storybook forms were treasured for both decoration and durability.
The broad, gently cupped seat retains its original painted finish, now softened and beautifully mottled by decades of outdoor exposure. A natural mossy patina mingles with traces of red, green, and white pigment, giving the surface a richly textured, organic appearance.
