Brown & Cream Vintage Kurdish Kilim Rug • Handmade Wool Carpet • 2x5 Tribal Flatweave Rug for Living Room, Bedroom, Entryway, & Study

✔  This 1950s vintage Kars kilim has a grounded, earthy presence with bold tribal geometry scaled perfectly for a smaller space. Stacked medallions and protective motifs give it a strong visual rhythm, while the handwoven texture keeps it warm and tactile rather than graphic or harsh.

What makes this piece especially special is the use of undyed sheep’s wool for many of the brown tones, creating beautiful natural variation throughout the design. Shades of charcoal brown, walnut, chestnut, and camel are layered with soft neutrals and small accents of golden ochre and dusty rose, giving the rug quiet depth and an authentic, time-softened character.

Handwoven in Eastern Anatolia, this wool flatweave has a durable, low-profile feel. At 2'3" × 5', it’s perfect for a bedside, entryway, kitchen, or layered accent where you want heritage, warmth, and texture in a compact size.

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet. My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan. I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS. Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.
