Maggie was found as a stray in a rural area, heavily pregnant and in need of help. Just weeks after giving birth to her litter of puppies, Maggie fell ill, developing a dangerously high fever and losing all appetite.
She was rushed to a veterinary hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a life-threatening uterine infection. Emergency surgery was performed to save her life, as the condition would have been fatal without immediate treatment.
Maggie survived, but her recovery is still underway as her body heals from giving birth and emergency surgery. Your support can help ensure Maggie receives the care she needs to fully recover and move toward a safe, stable future.
