Seis Cabos is a Light Worsted Weight Yarn made of 100% Superfine Merino Wool, with a slightly rugged texture and the grip of natural wool.  Seis Cabos means “six plies” in Spanish and is meticulously crafted by tightly twisting each one of its six plies.

Its one-of-a-kind construction not only guarantees great stitch definition but also provides a lovely drape to every project.  Thanks to its tightly spun six-ply construction, Seis Cabos boasts impressive durability and elasticity with a unique texture that offers greater strength and resilience to the yarn. Despite being non-superwash, its firm twist resists pilling and ensures that garments hold their shape, even with frequent wear.

Made from 100% super fine merino wool, Seis Cabos offers the perfect balance of warmth and breathability. This natural fiber is ideal for layering pieces, making it versatile for a variety of projects, from lightweight garments to cozy accessories.  Seis Cabos has a rustic charm that contrasts beautifully with its softness. It’s gentle enough for next-to-skin wear while still providing that organic, woolly feel ideal for timeless pieces.

Great for: Accessories, garments, baby and kids items, housewares, toys, cables, textured stitches, colorwork.  This yarn is also great for felted projects, too.

Malabrigo is kettle dyed in small batches.  Please order enough yarn to complete you project because dye lots can vary greatly.  To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.  For Ball Winding services click here.

HOOK SIZE: US I-9 to K-10/12 or 5.5-6.5 mm
GAUGE: 4.5-5.5 sts per inch / 2-2.5cm
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash in cold water.  Dry Flat. Do not tumble.
