It will allow the heater to run off of any 120v power source, like a standard wall outlet or any power station's 3-prong AC outlet.

If you already own a Planar diesel heater and want to ship your heater to us and have us install our AC Power Upgrade Kit, this is the product you want instead.
Installing the upgrade kit to the heater can add an additional 5-7 business days to the lead time of the Planar Portable Diesel Heater product and orders cannot be modified or cancelled after 24 hours. Please check that product page for it's current lead time and plan accordingly. Signature is required for delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: We are competent in electrical systems and concepts, and have lots of experience wiring and creating circuits. However, by purchasing this kit you acknowledge that this upgrade kit may void the factory warranty on your heater.
