The Deta Vimark 4617 extractor fan is a low voltage model designed for safe installation in high-moisture environments, including Zone 1 of bathrooms when connected to a 240V supply via a suitable transformer. Offering a slim, modern design with quiet and efficient operation, it provides an extraction rate of 24 litres per second (85m³/hour) and operates at just 28dB @ 3m. This fan features both an adjustable overrun timer (2–30 minutes) and a built-in humidistat (settable between 60–90% RH), ensuring effective moisture control and automatic operation when humidity levels rise. Suitable for through-wall applications or short ducting runs under 2m, it includes a one-shot thermal fuse for safety and an IP44 rating for reliable moisture resistance. Fully compliant with BS EN 60335-2-80 and Building Regulations Approved Documents F & L1, the 4617 is backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
