Le Paludier de Guérande Fleur de Sel in a Bag is a delicate sea salt harvested by hand from the salt marshes of Le Paludier, located in the small seaside town of Batz sur Mer, part of the Guérande Peninsula. Just like the Le Paludier de Guérande Fleur de Sel in a Box, the large 8.8oz salt in a clear bag contains more of the very rare and outstanding quality artisan salt that is harvested by paludiers (the salt harvesters of the Guérande region) using only wooden tools to scrape the top layer of salt, preserving its pure taste. Once collected, the salt is simply left to drain and bake naturally in the sun. The weather conditions must be perfect to produce a good Fleur de Sel harvest, and the process can only be completed once a year, in the summer.
