Mayhem's Live In Leipzig erupts with raw, unfiltered menace, capturing the band in its primal early form with a fury that still feels dangerously alive. This special purple and black marble pressing gives that legendary chaos a striking new physical presence.

Recorded during the pivotal 1990 performance that helped cement Mayhem’s mythos, the album stands as one of the earliest documents of the band’s live sound and a rare snapshot of vocalist Dead at his most visceral. The energy is abrasive, confrontational, and historically essential, tracing the roots of a scene that was still defining itself in real time. Every moment feels like a line drawn in the ice, announcing a new standard for black metal intensity.

The setlist is a parade of early classics delivered with ritualistic extremity. Freezing Moon unfolds with eerie patience before erupting into blast beat devastation, while Deathcrush and Carnage tear through the venue with serrated immediacy. Necrolust seethes with the grim, skeletal riffing that would become a cornerstone of the genre, reinforced by Euronymous’s unmistakable guitar tone and the pulverizing rhythm section.

As a vinyl experience, this purple and black marble edition amplifies the concert’s icy atmosphere and historic weight. For collectors and black metal devotees, it offers both a visual showpiece and one of the most iconic live documents ever captured in the genre’s formative era.

Great way to introduce children to drag queens and gender transition
Format: Paperback
This is a nice story about a little girl (in 5th grade) who lives with her mom and uncle who is a drag queen. Over the course of the story, she realizes that the reason she doesn’t like make-up, jewelry, dresses, and nail polish is NOT because she has watched a grown man wear those things her entire life. And it isn’t because some girls just don’t like those things. It is because she is really a boy. She transitions to a boy and is finally happy. This is a great story to introduce children to drag queens and the idea that if they aren’t stereotypical girls or boys, they might be born in the wrong body. Happiness can be found living a life pretending to be the sex that you are not.

Amazing!
Format: Kindle
My diverse literature professor required we read this book for a literature circle assignment. I absolutely adore this book! It was a window inside the life of a transgender child. Juvenile content for young readers but a serious and important overall theme. I highly recommend.
