Deep crimson with vibrant purple hues, this Heathcote Shiraz exhibits exceptional clarity and intensity. The wine's spectacular colour reflects its concentration and careful vineyard selection from the region's ancient Cambrian earth.
Aroma
The nose reveals layers of dark plum, blackberry and mulberry, complemented by subtle notes of black pepper, liquorice and cedar. French Oak maturation contributes elegant vanilla and spice nuances, whilst the minimal intervention approach preserves the pure fruit expression and regional character.
Palate
Full-bodied and beautifully balanced, the palate delivers rich dark fruit flavours with velvety tannins and remarkable depth. Blackberry and plum dominate, supported by savoury notes of dark chocolate, espresso and subtle earthy minerality.
