From Finca Decero, Remolinos' single vineyard estate in Agrelo Mendoza, this wine is a red blend of some of the most prized parcels of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Tannat, which has been matured for 18 months in French oak barrels. Violet aromatics of the Malbec compliment the darker notes and structural backbone of the Cabernet Sauvignon whilst the abundant Petit Verdot and Tannat in this wine provide considerable richness and tannins. This unusual blend of grapes that will appeal to Argentinian Malbec fans and lovers of robust New World reds - full-bodied with sweet vanilla spice and candied black fruits, velvet tannins and leather and liquorice on the finish.
