This is a set of Pacific Madrone knife scales that will make a beautiful knife handle. They are bookmatched, such that the pieces of wood are mirror images of each other.
The wood has been air-dried to under 10% moisture content. Thanks to the air-drying process, the scales have retained their full color depth and contrast. The wet photo shows you a preview of the finished knife handle, using alcohol as a wetting agent so that it does not affect wood stability.
Price is per set of scales. The knife scales you receive will be similar to those shown in the photos but will not identical. Each set has its own unique beauty.
