We will explore and experiment on a large sheet of oil paper adding collage, oil bar, pastel, powdered pigment, charcoal powder, and graphite powder. We will explore reductive techniques, using stencils, and making transfers.
This is a workshop of discovery, not a finished painting. Although you may end up with one this should not be the outcome you focus on.
Bring a couple of previously started paintings to work on in between drying time.
You will need your tools, oil paint, and cold wax.
Other media is included for use in class.
A large sheet of Arches Oil Paper is included in the Tuition.
