アメジストを思わせる気品あるパープルの煌めきが印象的な、1950年代トリファリのラインストーンイヤリング。PAT PENDの刻印がある貴重な一品です。贅沢にあしらわれたマーキスカットのパープルストーンに、小粒のストーンが白い輝きを添えます。メタルのエレガントな曲線が全体を美しく引きしめる高貴なデザイン。お顔周りにクラシカルな華やかさを添える、ドレスアップにもぴったりのお品です。
"TRIFARI PAT PEND"は1932-1954年に使用されていた特許出願(PAT PEND)を意味する特別な刻印。当時ジュエリーデザインにはコピーライト(著作権)がなかったため、特許を申請してデザインを守っていました。主にAlfred Philippeデザインのアイテムに使用されています。

【TRIFARI(トリファリ)とは】
1918年創業のジュエリーカンパニー。1930～68年まで、ヴァン・クリーフやカルティエに在籍していたアルフレッド・フィリップ氏がデザイナーとして活躍し、トリファリはアメリカを代表するジュエリーメーカーへと成長しました。1950年代には、当時のアイゼンハワー大統領夫人が、大統領就任式でトリファリ社のジュエリーを着用したことでも有名に。優美な曲線を用いたエレガントなデザインは、現在も世界中のコレクターに愛されています。
