When to Replace
- Engine fails to crank or start
- Power is intermittent to the electrical system
- Key is loose, broken, or will not turn properly
- No "click" or response when turning the key to the start position
- Visible corrosion or damage to switch terminals
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning installation.
- Photograph the wiring harness connection to the old switch for reference.
- Ensure the replacement switch is securely seated in the dash panel.
- Confirm all pins are correctly aligned and the connector is fully seated.
- Reconnect the battery and test all key positions before operating the machine.
