Introducing 'Coco and the Caterpillars,' a heartwarming children's book that brings to life the magical connection between a boy and his garden. Perfect for young readers, this beautifully illustrated tale is ideal for teaching kids about nature, friendship, and the joys of gardening. With a vibrant printed dust jacket, this brand new hardcover edition published by House of Anansi in 2024 will captivate children and parents alike.

In this enchanting story, a boy nurtures his garden filled with delicate plants and tiny insects, igniting a love for nature that resonates with every page. His pet chicken, Coco, adds a humorous twist as she is equally fascinated by the tiny creatures that inhabit their world. When the boy stumbles upon a clutch of butterfly eggs, his imagination soars with the thought of colorful butterflies fluttering through his garden. However, Coco's voracious appetite for the garden's inhabitants leads to an unforeseen challenge.

As the boy watches the eggs hatch into striking caterpillars, he is thrilled. But when Coco eats the caterpillars by mistake, he faces a dilemma: his concern for Coco's health clashes with his sadness over the lost caterpillars. Join him on a journey of discovery where worry turns to wonder, and the possibility of butterflies coming to life ignites hope in the garden.

Geraldo Valrio’s stunning illustrations breathe life into this charming narrative, inspired by his childhood wonder at the butterflies in his family's garden. Perfect for bedtime stories or classroom readings, 'Coco and the Caterpillars' is an exquisite addition to any children's book collection that inspires love for nature and curiosity about the world around us.

I guess it’s good enough for what you pay but the band and base of the watch color do not match and it’s noticeable.

Love the blue numbers
Not quite sure how to rate this. It's an attractive basic analog watch; I especially like the blue numbers. And my experience with the reliability and durability of Casio has always been terrific. But... it's huge. I am stunned to see the other review that states that this watch is too small and is suitable only for a child; I think the reviewer must have been reviewing some other model. This one is larger than any other watch I own, including a hand-me-down men's watch that I got from a friend. This is NOT a unisex watch and should not be advertised as such. But if Casio would make the same thing in a women's model, I would snap it up. UPDATE: When my smaller watch died, I finally started wearing this one. I've gotten used to the size, and now it looks and feels normal to me instead of huge. I adore the blue numbers--they make me happy every time I look at the watch.
