Heather Brown Electronicals' flagship pedal, the Delorosa Mod Blessed Mother balances the experience of a crisp "screamer" tone, a clean blend control, and a two-way LED clipping circuit control for a gnarlier, darker dose of driven heat.
The Blessed Mother is an acclaimed "screamer"-style overdrive pushed forward by a "mythical" EQ section and separate Volume and Drive controls. Delivering warm, crisp, tube-style drives, the Blessed Mother breathes authentic amplified warmth and bite to play easily alongside any amp or guitar setup. The pedal's Immaculator control plays the "secret weapon" role of the whole deal as it gradually introduces clean signal to make the Mother fit seamlessly alongside other pedals, amps, and pickups.
It's here where this model's starring modification comes into play. Differing from the standard production Blessed Mother, this model's "Delorosa" modification brings on a two-way side switch that taps into all-new LED clipping that turns up the heat and down the lights on the whole pedal. An LED clipping section makes for an overall meaner and heftier overdrive, resulting in an even more complex tube-style drive with a dark secret. Standard nine-volt or higher eighteen-volt power supplies make the Blessed Mother Delorosa Mod heaven-sent on any stage.
