Whatever strikes your fancy about Fender basses, the American Professional Classic series has something for you. The American Professional Classic Mustang Bass begins with an alder body in a double-cutaway, offset Mustang shape. This body is treated to a high-gloss finish with a Faded Sherwood Green Metallic color that brings a classic Fender aesthetic to the table.
From here, the Fender American Professional Classic Mustang Bass welcomes a satin-finished maple neck in a Modern "C" profile that offers a familiar feel in hand to other modern Fender series necks. The neck matches with a rosewood fingerboard bearing nineteen Medium Jumbo frets that feel both spacious and precise.
Tonally, the Fender American Professional Classic Mustang Bass lands with a Coastline Mustang Bass split-coil single-coil pickup. This pickup proudly exhibits a concise and punchy bass tone with all the playability it implies. Onboard, Fender's Greasebucket tone circuit allows for signal clarity and the preservation of highs when tone is rolled off.
Along with its pickup, the American Professional Classic Mustang Bass is set up with a sturdy assembly of hardware.
