Bodark Block B-747 2.4" x 2.5" x 10"Bodark Block B 747 2. 4" x 2. 5" x 10" 2. 1 lbs. This is a nice 2. 4" square end grain block of aged and spalted Texas Bodark. It has the deep golden orange of aged Bodark heartwood with the darker hues of spalting. There is a wane edge on the front face by the annotation, right edge. This block has been air dried to 10 12% moisture content. This block has multiple small knots that the grain swirls around. The rest of the block has grain that's long

This block has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. This block has multiple small knots that the grain swirls around. The rest of the block has grain that's long and nearly straight. There is one crack on the back face that you'll need to secure with CA glue if you wish to preserve it for turning. |
