A short history of our Monstera Cements
The French and Catalans were the first to use the technique in the 1850's both in France and in Barcelona. The complex patterns used in the tiles are due to an interest in ancient cultures, most notably Moroccan art. As a result, the tiles spread throughout Europe as a high quality flooring material and then onto former European colonies in Latin America, North Africa, and Vietnam.
How Zia Tile manufactures our Monstera Cement.
We make Cements like our Monstera pattern by hand, one at a time, using mineral pigments, cement, a mold, and a hydraulic press. Because of the way in which they're made, each and every one of our Monstera cement tiles are unique and one of a kind. The individual patterns are made by applying separate pigments, one by one, in a handmade copper mold. The process is incredibly delicate, requiring skilled artisans with years of experience.

Our Monstera
Cement tiles are not fired in a kiln because there is no glaze layer on the surface of the tile. Instead, each tile has a pigment layer that is 2-3 millimeters thick, resulting in a tile that is incredibly durable, lasting well over a century.
Our tiles come in an endless array of patterns with 64 custom colors to choose from, from bold jewel tones, to monochromatic black and white.

Meh. Not impressed but not the worst.

TL;DR: Not worth the money
I’ve had quite a few cooling pillows and, while not the worst, this is also not the best in my experience. First, I had to take the cover off. It was ridiculously thick, thereby negating any cooling effect that I could feel. With the cover removed, the cooling sensation is noticeable when laying your head on it and it lasts for a minute or so. On the bright side, when the cooling feeling completely dissipates, the pillow doesn’t feel hot like some others. Having to lay on it without the cover makes it less comfortable because of the encasing material. Other than that, I’d rate the support and comfort as mediocre as well. Not worth the money in my opinion, maybe if it was about 33%-50% less.

Firm yet comfortable
We have purchased several of these pillows over the past few years. They have held up well and held their shape and firmness, even with washing. They are the right height for neck comfort and we do not need to double up pillows anymore to get a good night's sleep. They are also a good firmness to rest against while sitting up in bed.

Is this a Casper or Tempurpedic?
When I went to wash the pillow covering I discovered that it iterally had a Tempurpedic factory pillow covering underneath the Casper factory pillow covering - leading me to believe that it was either a return item shipped out as new, and the previous owner actually returned a Tempurpedic pillow disguised as a Casper, or Casper is actually manufactured by Tempurpedic and uses the Casper brand to upcharge. Either way - it's turned out to be an overly expensive - mediocre pillow.

Does not cool, is hot actually
I am very disappointed with this product. I write a lot of reviews and give credit where credit is due. I wish credit was due here.
I bought this as a gift for my wife. She slept on it for a few nights and finally stated that it never cools and is hot instead. And so I tried it and found the same thing. I bought an inexpensive cooling pillow from Costco and we both found that one to cool a little bit and it isn’t hot.
I’m summary, you don’t always get what you pay for and at $100, this pillow does not deliver. It’s supportive and it seems well made, which is why I give it two stars. But it does not deliver any cooling. Save your money and try a different pillow.

Does what it claims, supportive and eliminates heat.

Its a bit pricey however when it comes to sleep quality im glad to pay for name brand. No tossing or turning to escape to the cold side of the pillow. Feels firm which was concerning at first however once you settle in its very comfortable. Seems to be just how foam pillows are made. Happy with the purchase.
