The music is fresh and new, showcasing the rich diversity of ragtime today: from boogie woogie and Terra Verde to stride and folk ragtime to the "classic" ragtime styles of Joplin and Lamb; some of the pieces are warm and contemplative, others are rollicking and joyous.
