This limited edition medallion features HMAS Fremantle (II), the lead vessel of 15 Fremantle class patrol boats that entered service in the RAN between 1979 and 1984. The medallion's reverse features the image of HMAS Australia (I) as used on the 1913 commemorative coin to mark the fleet's first visit to Sydney.

Minted from brass alloy and finished in highly polished and frosted silver with a gold plate RAN badge it measures 50mm in diameter by 4.5mm. The medallion is enclosed in a sturdy clear protector and set in a quality leatherette case. Only 250 individual medallions are available. Comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a short bio on the ship of the same name.

The keys on the keyboard sound like a typewriter which I love. I was unaware that the keyboard lit up but to my surprise the lighting was extremely bright even in the daylight. The weight of the both the keyboard, iPad, and case all together feels as heavy as a FiveStar notebook. Connecting the keyboard to the iPad was the easiest part because once you pop your iPad in the case and turn on the keyboard and press the connect button you head to the bluetooth settings of your iPad to pair them. Performance wise sometimes the keyboard snoozes after a few minutes of not being used and takes a second to start typing again. Besides that it works great when you’re constantly typing. Overall I love the color of the case and it’s definitely a money spent well.

I have some off brand pencils but have not tried the slot that holds a pencil yet but looking at it I can see how it could hold a pencil better than a Samsung tablet I have does as the case to that one the slot is on the outside and does not hold the pencil well.
