Pecan Bowl Blank P-463 3" x 6" x 7" 2.7 lbs. This is a small half-log bowl blank of Texas-grown Pecan wood. Its color is a soft tan to peachy light brown color with subtle darker-brown streaks of mineralization. The wood grain has a pleasant and gracefully flowing pattern. It has full bark on the back side, although it is a bit loose and needs to be secured prior to turning. This half-log bowl blank should be suitable for a bowl 5-6" in diameter and up to 3" deep. With the bark on the backside, you have the option of turning a conventional bowl or a "barky" natural-edge bowl. However, if you want a full bark edge on the "natural" rim, you will need to secure the bark with CA glue before and possibly during turning. This piece is GREEN to partially air-dried, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. Moisture content was 20-25% when measured in May, 2022. It has been well-sealed and is in the process of slowly drying. It was heat-treated to kill off any hungry critters that may have been burrowing inside. If you need a current moisture content, please message us and we'll check its status for you. This is a classic half-log blank, split through the center of the log. It does have a sliver of pith in it and has a few cracks developing that radiate out from the remnant pith. You may wish to reinforce these with CA glue prior to turning. Good quality for a great price!

Very nice grill cover! I thought it was going to be a thin piece of plastic, but I was surprised when it came and it’s actually a substantially thick layered cover. The inside has a thermal layer I didn’t expect. Even the Velcro tabs on the sides are thick! I feel like I really got my moneys worth! I just have a regular gas grill that gets little use. I noticed this year there was rust on it in spots, so I thought a cover would help prevent any more rusting. I think this will definitely help my rust situation, plus it looks neater with a cover. Very happy with this purchase!

Very nice and priced right

Although this cover is slightly larger than my grill, it's heavy duty and should last a long time in the weather. Installing was a breeze, and the velcro straps help secure it in place better than my last one. This truly is a nice cover and appears to be able to withstand anything thrown at it. Too much material so that it gets stuck under wheels

Very large grill cover, lightweight, but it covers my grill and since it is over-sized very easy to take off and put back on. My problem with it is it's got too much material so that if I have to move my grill away from the house to use, the material gets stuck under the wheels. I may have to re-hem it or send it back. Those with stationary grills won't have this problem.
