A visiting African has just fallen to his knees to shake him by the “Is this the boy? Is this him?” Chude-Sokei’s immersion in the politics of race and belonging across the landscape of the African diaspora takes a turn when his traumatized mother, who has her own extraordinary history as the onetime “Jackie O of Biafra,” finally sends for him to come live with her. In Inglewood, Los Angeles, on the eve of gangsta rap and the LA riots, it’s as if he’s fallen to Earth. In this world, anything alien—definitely Chude-Sokei’s secret obsession with science fiction and David Bowie—is a danger, and his yearning to become a Black American gets deeply, sometimes absurdly, complicated. My dogs love these toys, they especially like when they tear the toy open and they get the ball that’s inside the red sack. They carry the red Sox in that ball around for days before actually tearing the ball out of the sack. If you sold the balls inside the red Sacks, I would buy them. I don’t know why they love it so much but they do all three of my dogs. These are the best priced and best dog toys I have found.

Good news and bad news

My Westie LOVES these toys. She is obsessed. You need to know, going in, that the squeakers last about 15 minutes and then they are dead. Out of a dozen of these toys, it's happened every time. That's the bad news. The good news is that the toys are light weight and durable enough to endure tug of war. You can toss them in the house with little fear of breaking anything they might hit. The little rubber nubs seem to encourage chewing and our vet says that my dog has beautiful teeth because these toys act as a toothbrush for her. I would say most terriers are active and heavy chewers and so far none of these toys have been destroyed by her chewing. So if your dog will continue to play fetch even though the (beloved) squeaker is dead, these are great toys. Look for the multi packs like this one. The individually sold toys are much more expensive per unit than buying a bag of toys like this offering and the toys are exactly the same.

I saw someone recommend this ball in a facebook group. I ordered the first one and it is now sitting somewhere under my deck and I can't find it. My dog loved it so much I had to order a second one. The rest of the ball is good quality and holds up well against my aggressive chewer. Its easy to throw or kick. It isn't super hard but is holds it shape well. My dog is about 8 months old and is a mini goldendoodle. I think he was about 18lbs in the video. Perfect size for him. I would definitely recommend, I think your dog would love it!
