That’s why placing ESD protection matting – or electrostatic matting – on the floor is so essential. Our ESD matting works by drawing the static charge to the ground, effectively protecting electronic components from damage and potential data loss, while also keeping employees safe.

Diamond Switchboard Matting is a non-conductive floor matting made from a PVC compound, designed to provide insulation for the worker. The mat prevents the worker from being grounded, thereby eliminating the possibility of electrical shock. The diamond plate top surface provides increased traction and is easy to sweep clean. Switchboard matting is intended for use in dry environments in front of high voltage boxes, electrical fuse boxes and transformers. Each square foot of this matting is tested in conformance with ANSI/ASTM D-178 specifications. Also meets the optional requirements cited by ASTM for flame resistance, ozone resistance, and oil resistance.

MAINTENANCE
When cleaning ESD mats, it is important to sweep or dry-mop the surface regularly. Also wet-mop or wipe off with mild soap or a static-control cleaning solution that will not leave a residue. This will allow the mat to continue to function efficiently. 

CUSTOM SIZES
Available in individual custom sized mats or 75' rolls (2’ x 75’, 3' x 75' and 4’ x 75’). The 1/4” is available in black and black with yellow border.
