Discover the transformative journey of renowned photographer Joel Meyerowitz in 'A Question of Color.' This captivating book traces a pivotal moment in the evolution of photography, highlighting Meyerowitz's groundbreaking early experiments with color. As an early advocate for the beauty and significance of color photography, Meyerowitz has left an indelible mark on generations of artists and photographers. Over his remarkable career spanning fifty-eight years, he has adeptly captured the dynamic social landscape of the United States, redefining narrative through vibrant imagery. In the late 1960s, Meyerowitz uniquely approached photography by employing two cameras—one for classic black-and-white images and the other for stunning color captures. This dichotomy sparked a passionate debate among fine-art photographers about the artistic merit of color versus monochrome photography. In 'A Question of Color,' Meyerowitz shares his personal history, illustrating the challenges he faced when he ventured outside conventional norms that dictated serious photography was monochromatic. He boldly questioned, 'But why?'—a sentiment that propelled him to embrace color photography with fervor. Through meticulous experimentation, he began exploring color techniques, paving the way for future innovators in the field.
This remarkable book is not only about photography; it’s about the courage to see the world in vivid color and to redefine artistic boundaries. Perfect for photography enthusiasts, art historians, and anyone who appreciates the evolution of visual storytelling, 'A Question of Color' is a timeless addition to any art lover’s collection. Immerse yourself in Meyerowitz's unique perspective and be inspired by his lifelong dedication to capturing the colorful complexities of life.

Nice dark blue color
Size: Twin, Color: Navy Blue
Bought 2 dark blue for twin beds and they look good with my blue and white quilts covering the beds. There are some wrinkles in the cloth due to packaging which may relax with time. but don't show much due to the dark color. I did find any defects in the stitching or fabric on the items I purchased.
A note for prospective buyers is that the dust ruffle covers the entire bed foundation, so get help to put on under a heavy mattress.

Lightweight, Easy to Install, and Holds Up Well
Size: Full, Color: Black
This bed skirt has been a great purchase. It’s very lightweight, which actually made it super easy to put on the bed without a struggle. Once in place, it looks nice and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
It’s also held up well to my almost-teenager being a little reckless at times, no tearing or issues so far. For the price, it’s definitely a good value.
Overall, simple, functional, and worth it if you need a clean finished look for your bed.

Great for the price
Size: Full, Color: Bright White
Great for the price. The fabric is thin and not made well but for the price it’ll do. Must iron it so that it lays correctly but I figured I’d have to.
