1950年代のSELROのフラワーモチーフブレスレット。

SELROのジュエリーは市場に出回る数が少なく、年々コレクター間での価値が上昇しています。

こちらはフィリグリーの上にブルーのラウンドカボション、ティアドロップカボションがセットされ、センターにパールがあしらわれた花が咲くように配置されたデザイン。モチーフ同士は、オーロラストーンが煌めく留め具で繋がれています。

大ぶりのカボションルーサイトは「ムーングロウ」と呼ばれるもので、その名の通り月光のように柔らかなホワイトを帯びた光を放つ様が美しいです。

甘くなりがちなフラワーモチーフが、SELROならではのセンスで重厚感ある独特のムードに仕上げられたユニークなお品。ダークなシルバートーンメタルに、忘れな草のようなブルー、濃いサファイアブルー、パールとオーロラストーンが美しく映える色彩もとても印象的。

身に纏えば、SELROにしかない独特の魅力で手元を華やかに飾ってくれるお品です。

【SELRO(セルロ)とは】 
ロシア生まれのPaul Salingerにより、1950年代にアメリカ・NYで創業されたコスチュームジュエリーブランド。力強い独特のテイスト、鮮やかな色合いのデザイン性が高いジュエリーが特徴です。中でも"Devil Mask"と呼ばれる鬼のような顔、アジア・アフリカ・エジプト系の顔を取り入れた作品が人気。
ブランドのペーパータグを付けて販売されていた商品もあり、刻印のないアイテムが多数あります。1960年代に閉業したため、製造年数が非常に短く市場に出回る数が少ないことから、SELROのジュエリーは希少性が高いアイテムとなっています。

Purchased this for our trip to Mexico. At two cruise ports we were doing a combination snorkel and pool day. I got this sunscreen because it was reef friendly and came with two bottles. Both bottles were IMPOSSIBLE to spray. You could not sunscreen yourself because you had to hold the bottle just right, push down with extreme force, and have your fingers place very specifically on the lid. My 13 year old and husband couldn’t even use the bottles. I did figure it out so I had to continually sunscreen everyone in the family. No one in my family has sensitive skin, but we all ended up with a fine rash after using this sunscreen. On days prior we used another brand and no one had a problem. We also reapplied often (every 60-90 min) and we still got pretty burnt. Maybe we got a bad batch…

IT WORKS if you turn in the direction of the arrow half way around. IT WON'T OPEN UNLESS YOU TURN the top in THE DIRECTION OF THE ARROW so it unlocks. You can lock it again so it won't leak - a nice feature. I love the product and the clean Alba brand. Recommend.
