Built from a mix of Sitka Spruce & Australian Blackwood, the Diesel has a rich and articulate voice with sweet high end & controlled(but defined) lows. The "Double X" brace that Maton uses on their mini models, gives them more volume & power out of a smaller body size; perfect on smaller body instruments that are looking to get a larger sound. The Blackwood neck gives an overall better resonance & the smaller size makes it the best travel companion that you'll ever have!
How do you take a small body travel size guitar & make it even better? By giving it Maton's own AP5 Pro Pickup System! The AP5 Pro is the best acoustic pickup system in the world and features a cardioid microphone (on an adjustable arm) combined with an undersaddle piezo that blend together to create an authentic (yet very customizable) acoustic guitar sound!
