Fargen Bastage 5W 1x12 Combo - UsedThe Fargen Bastage is a boutique, single ended Class A combo. The Bastage sports one EF86 preamp tube, a switchable 12AX7 gain stage and one output tube that can accept any octal power tube (but currently has an EL34). The volume and tone controls are notched pots for easy and precise recall, it also has a "Fat" "Bright" switch that either adds bottom end or top end respectively. On the back panel you have the option for "London Power Scaling"

On the back panel you have the option for "London Power Scaling" switching the output power from full, to 1/2, finally down to 1/3. The cabinet is loaded with a single 12" Celestion V30.
Overall, the amp is in great sonic and physical shape. The cabinet is free of major blemishing albeit the cracking leather handle. The amp is free of excess noise and can go from twangy cleans to overdriven bedroom tones with ease. This amp does not come with an IEC power cable.
