The RAM-HOL-UN1U is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of cell phones and small electronic devices. This cradle has padded locking side clamps that close tightly on the item you want to hold. To release the clamp hold, simply press the button found at the bottom left side of the cradle which will spring the clamps open. At the base of the cradle are two small supports to hold the bottom of the item securely in the cradle.


The base consists of a standard double socket arm and two RAM-B-238U diamond bases.


The diamond bases measure 61.7mm x 33.3mm (2.43" x 1.31") and contain two holes 48.6mm (1.912") from centre to centre, positioned at both ends of the diamond base. The hole pattern found on the diamond bases will connect to many RAM cradles, as well as third party cradles including mounts with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.


The double socket arm for B-Series 1" balls (RAM-B-201u) has a socket at both ends and is 94mm long overall (76mm from socket to socket). A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets, allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
