Green Nutritionals Australian SUPERGRASS powder's perfect blend of barley, wheat and alpha grass as a refreshing, vitalizing addition to your diet.

WHY BARLEY GRASS?

Barley grass leaf, in the young green stage is purported to be the most prolific, balanced supply of nutrients of any single food source. (Hagiwara, 1985). It is promoted by its champions as a complete food and a rapidly assimilated source of energy.

It is so rich in nutrients that it contains 30 times more vitamin B1 than milk, 7 times more Vitamin C than oranges, 5 times more iron than spinach as well as containing large amounts of beta-carotene, potassium, calcium and magnesium. It is a very alkaline food and quite neutralizing to the system. It is naturally high in enzymes particularly S.O.D. (Super–oxide dismutase) an antioxidant enzyme that protects our cells from free radical damage.

Barley grass provides generous amounts of natural chlorophyll which has a purifying effect on the body enabling it to eliminate toxins that can lead to disease.
Chlorophyll has figured prominently in medical research into tissue healing and it also has a recognised deodorising effect on the body. Some nutritionists have proposed that many diets today are highly acid in balance - as barley leaf powder is alkaline, it is therefore useful in restoring a pH balance.

The Barley grass leaf is naturally high in enzymes that can have an anti–peptic ulcer and anti-inflammatory function. It has been suggested that 65% of food has been processed in a way that destroys all enzymes (Swope, 1987). Our low temperature drying process therefore plays a significant role in maintaining these valuable enzymes.

The Barley grass in Australian SUPERGRASS is harvested, dehydrated and powdered in the same locality and is not subjected to any heat, friction or other processes which could cause loss of nutrients. The equipment used concentrates the green barley shoots into a micro fine powder and is a world first. With this technology Australian SUPERGRASS can provide optimum nutrition in its most natural form.

Imported Grass Juice Powder products have arrived on the market with fantastic claims.

Fact: These Grass Juice Powder products can contain up to 25% maltodextrin. This is a combination of maltose and dextrin, both simple sugars.

Note: The Australian and New Zealand food authority classifies maltodextrin as sugar.

Fact: The imported Grass Juice Powder products contain approximately identical amounts of crude fibre as the Australian SUPERGRASS blend. This is found to be from the cooked brown rice which has been added and does not contain all the nutrients that the whole, young leaf grasses contain in the comparable volume of fibre found within the young leaf shoots.

WHY WHEAT GRASS?

The rich green goodness of young Wheat grass leaf has long been recognised for its unique nutritional benefits. Extensive research over the past 50 years has confirmed the value of cereal leaf as a complete food, available in a natural synergistic form that makes it an ideal dietary supplement for health and energy.

The Wheat grass in Australian SUPERGRASS is made entirely from leaf harvested when the wheat plant is still at its grass-like growth stage, prior to stem elongation and subsequent seed head formation. At this stage the plants nutritional value reaches a peak for important dietary components such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, chlorophyll and carotenes.

A strict harvesting schedule, fast, hygienic handling of the crop, a specially developed low temperature drying process and innovative milling technology ensures that the Wheat grass in Australian SUPERGRASS retains the goodness and quality of the young fresh Wheat grass leaf.

Australian SUPERGRASS contains whole, young wheat grass leaf. It is not juiced and it has no additives. Juicing eliminates the natural plant fibre and requires chemical additives to prevent deterioration and facilitate the drying process.

The Wheat grass in Australian SUPERGRASS has a unique smooth flavour. Rich in chlorophyll known for its ability to aid digestion and has a deodorising effect on the body.

A good source of vitamin E, an anti-oxidant to provide protection for cells against free radical damage, it is particularly important in protecting fats, cell membranes, DNA and enzymes against damage endured by today’s hectic lifestyles.

Containing over 90 minerals vital for life, it is high in calcium for healthy bones and teeth, and rich in magnesium, potassium, manganese and phosphorus for a healthy heart, muscles, nervous system and blood vessels. Iron is also essential to combat fatigue and infection. Wheat leaf powder has a greater percentage of protein than eggs.

Selenium contained in Wheat grass is a powerful trace mineral and is important in maintaining a resistance to disease.

Wheat grass is high in iron assisting the body to transport and store oxygen in the blood and muscles, produce energy, maintain the immune system and is essential for fatty acid metabolism assisting the human body to detoxify and cleanse.

The Wheat grass in Australian SUPERGRASS contains no actual wheat; it is the young plant which is used before any gluten is formed. Therefore, people with wheat allergies are not affected.

The Wheat grass in Australian SUPERGRASS is grown on an organic Australian farm using sustainable agricultural practices and is free from pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers.

WHY ALFALFA GRASS?

Alfalfa, a unique complete food was once known in ancient Arab civilisations as the “Father of all foods”. Scientific studies have revealed that alfalfa contains almost all the known vitamins, minerals and trace elements needed for premium health.

The Alfalfa grass in Australian SUPERGRASS is made from fresh, green, vigorously growing plants of Medicago sativa and contains no additives or artificial colours.

It is slow dried at an optimum temperature of 38°C for maximum potency. Green Nutritionals final processing method ensures that the powder will disperse in cold liquids readily.

Alfalfa grass is renowned for its deep root system growing as much as 40 metres into the earth thereby absorbing rare trace elements that most plants do not have an opportunity to absorb. Alfalfa grass is one of nature's richest sources of nutrients, it is high in chlorophyll and is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, trace minerals, enzymes and all the known vitamins, including beta carotene, K and U.

It is also up to ten times richer in minerals than most cereals. The minerals are in a balanced form and very alkaline they therefore have a neutralizing effect on the intestinal tract allowing it to be properly absorbed. The Alfalfa grass in Australian SUPERGRASS contains high levels of the B complex vitamins plus A, C, D, E, K, and Biotin. It is also a rich source of protein, choline, inositol and PABA.

Alfalfa grass is high in fibre and a useful component in weight reduction diets, as its high nutritional value and ability to expand in the stomach reduces appetite. The high calcium intake also offers protection against fat accumulation and therefore enables fat to be used for energy.

For those who don’t need to lose weight, alfalfa is of benefit in aiding digestion. The leaf is harvested at its peak nutritional level and processed within sixty minutes of being cut.

The Alfalfa grass leaf in Australian SUPERGRASS is grown in Australia’s deep Mallee soils, renowned for their production of high quality cereal and vegetable crops and remoteness from industrial pollutants.

Alfalfa, being highly alkaline assists in the control of uric acid, which builds up around the joints, and can be a cause of arthritic pain & gout.

Alfalfa also works as a detoxifier, infection fighter and cleanser, and is particularly noted for its diuretic effect, helping to expel retained fluid from the body. It is good for colon disorders and helps detoxify the liver. Chinese healers in the 6th Century used Alfalfa to treat kidney stones and to relieve fluid retention and swelling.

CLEAN GREEN GROWING ENVIRONMENT

Australian SUPERGRASS is made using 100% organic young leaf Barley, Wheat and Alfalfa grasses from the mineral-rich, certified organic soil on the banks of the Murray River in Northern Victoria.

The clean, green farms where Australian SUPERGRASS is grown are certified organic by The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA).

When combined, these 3 highly alkalising young leaf grasses deliver a broader spectrum of organic nutrients in one perfect blend to energise, alkalise and nourish the body.

SUPERIOR DRYING & MILLING TECHNOLOGIES

Australian SUPERGRASS is dried using special Low Temperature Drying Technology, then milled with an advanced Fine-Pin Milling System to produce a smaller particle size to preserve potency and increase nutrient bioavailability – NO 'flash-air drying’ at high temperatures is used in the production of Australian SUPERGRASS.

A specially developed process uses low temperature drying to prevent denaturing heat sensitive compounds and, unlike some imported grasses, Green Nutritionals product is pure leaf, it is not altered by juicing, refining or separation processes which remove some of the naturally occurring ingredients, including fibre.

PACKED FOR FRESHNESS AND POTENCY

Unlike other cereal grass products on the market, Green Nutritionals have packed Australian SUPERGRASS in their unique protective LOCTEC(TM) packaging system, eliminating oxygen from the container right up until the day you open it. LOCTEC uses recyclable glass and steel to give you full benefits of these remarkable foods.

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

From its intricately woven plot to its compelling characters, this novel delivers an immersive reading experience that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.
