Assembling the best of Yamaha's present, past, and future, we're treated to the Yamaha TAG1E TransAcoustic Dreadnought acoustic guitar in an effortless Natural! This digitally-equipped, dreadnought-sized acoustic from Yamaha brings out a timeless acoustic concoction of sounds with a thoroughly modern digital outfit for a model that checks all the boxes.

For a refined acoustic design, the Yamaha TAG1E follows in the footsteps of generations of Yamaha acoustics. This TransAcoustic model forges ahead for an evolution for Yamaha and their electronically-enabled acoustic models. At the start, we have a quality dreadnought-sized body brought together from solid spruce and mahogany. This timeless tonewood combination establishes a great baseline musical experience with outstanding tone at square one. Its bold dreadnought body brings on a matte-finished mahogany neck with a smooth, playable feel in the palm. Here, a walnut fingerboard brings on a seamless fretting feel for effortless playability.

Likely the thing you're coming for on this TransAcoustic series, the TAG1E punches up with an expressive set of electronics. Onboard, this guitar introduces lush chorus and reverb effects at the press of a button that conjure expressive sounds in amplified performance. Responsive onboard dials mix in such great sounds with two AA batteries. This playability and performance experience is solidified by an awesome set of Yamaha hardware specs including die-cast chrome tuning machines, a urea nut, and walnut bridge all contributing to steady playability. This Yamaha TransAcoustic TAG1E travels with an included hard gig bag.

A wonderful telling of history.
Format: Kindle
A wonderful telling of history by an enjoyable author. It isn't light reading per se but if you want a read that will enhance your understanding of the American people this is a good book.

Scholarly and Readable, Too
Format: Paperback
I read the first volume in this series (about the Great Depression), and now I'm in the midst of this one. Kennedy's very-lucid prose keeps the reader moving along, and of course, the sweep of the story he's telling is nearly-irresistible. But in lamer hands, the prose might well have bogged down in turgidity--not so in this case!

Good but not as good
Format: Kindle
Freedom From Fear #1 was one of the most interesting and informational books I've ever read. Part Two was interesting but I did not learn much more about the war than I had known before other than the fact that, while Japan lost the war, Anglo-Saxons are no longer in control in the Far East. I somewhat disagree with his ending ideas about the "good" war, that it wasn't so "good" after all in it's outcome. However, those who fought in it and their families would probably disagree.
