Description
The Custom Staggered RWRP for Strat gives you the same added output and tone as the standard version, but is made reverse woundreverse polarity so that when combined with the neck or bridge pickups in positions 2 & 4, it will give you a noiseless, beefed up in-between sound. On its own, it will give you the same great overwound Stratocaster tone that you get from the standard wound version.Combine with an SSL-5 in the neck and bridge for a complete setup.We start by building the Forbon bobbins with hand ground alnico 5 magnets, lacquer for stability, then wind and wax pot for squeal free performance. We use modern oval Forbon flatwork (non-triangular) which enables this pickup to fit into any guitar that is routed for single coils.
