This Kitchen Broad Axe is a Danish model from the 11th century, although the original type is in all probability much older. The axe is characterized by its long extended edge. This replica, forged by hand, is based on an original from the 11th century. The original axe is on display at the Viking Museum in Roskilde, Denmark.

It will be a perfect companion in your culinary adventures through the different kitchen recipes.
This axe can be used for all sorts of tasks while cooking. It goes together with an axe holder. The axe head is done very decoratively. The axe holder is done in a rustic style in a view of a tower. You place the axe in a slot of a tower window. There is an inscription at the bottom of the tower "VIKING". The upper part of the tower and the window is covered in cherry color. Both the axe handle and the tower is lacquered.

The blade of the axe head is sharpened.
