It has a beautiful warmth to the wood, with color of light reddish brown. The grain on this piece is long and mostly straight. There a few branch buds that give a bit of chatoyance to the piece. Slippery Elm Block RE-134 4" x 4" x 14" 5.3 lbs. This is a nice end-grain block of Slippery Elm (aka Red Elm). It has a beautiful warmth to the wood, with color of light reddish-brown. The grain on this piece is long and mostly straight. There a few branch buds that give a bit of chatoyance to the piece. This will look particularly nice once finished. This piece would be suitable for flat our round work. It's been air-dried to a moisture content of 10-12%. This block has been marked down due to a crack that penetrates well into the block. If turning this, you will need to cut down to avoid the crack or alternately to secure it with CA glue. I've taken lots of photos, so you can assess the block -- there is a lot of material here that is untouched by the crack. It's basically priced for the "clean" wood that is unaffected by the crack. But you may find that you can use the entire block. |

Decent value for the money.

Was easy to assemble. Instructions were clear. Tools were supplied. It really needs to be assembled wherever you're going to be putting it as it can come apart easily when moved. The cross bars simply fit into open ended plastic 90 degree female ends. Overall for the money and to just have some division in a room it's a good value.

Garbage

This product is absolute garbage! It literally took all day to put it together and if the air conditioning blows on it the wrong way than the whole thing top over and it falls apart.
It’s not made of quality material and is very flimsy. The only reason I’m not returning it is because it’s too difficult to put together and I don’t wanna spend that much time trying to take it apart. Do not buy this!
