The Gibson Hummingbird Standard has a storied history in the world of acoustic guitars, first appearing in 1960. This limited edition iteration of the Gibson Hummingbird Standard features a gorgeous Honeyburst gloss finish that accentuates the natural beauty of its woods. The guitar's crown jewel is its Adirondack red spruce top, which is paired with back and sides crafted from solid mahogany. This combination offers a unique take of the voicing of this J-45, and is coupled with a mahogany neck that's carved to a Rounded profile, and topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard features a radius of twelve inches, and is topped with twenty frets, with Mother-of-Pearl Parallelogram inlays and offering a total scale length of 24.75 inches.

With onboard L.R. Baggs VTC electronics, this guitar offers a high-fidelity plugged in experience that recreates the nuanced tonal qualities it has to offer with clarity. Volume and tone controls conveniently mounted around the soundhole allow for easy adjustments on the fly.
