This BDS 6.5" lift kit with FOX 2.5 Coil-Over conversion is a game changer for your 2020-2025 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500 HD, with clearance for up to 38" tires. In addition to replacing the factory torsion bars, the control arms are upgraded: tubular uppers from 1.5" OD x .120-wall fully TIG-welded tubing with an indexed ball joint cup, and fully boxed, internally gusseted high-strength steel lowers. Up front it also runs high-arched 1/4" steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, HD skid plates and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. The rear uses replacement lift blocks, a u-bolt flip kit for max clearance and FOX 2.0 Performance shocks. The bolt-on FOX 2.5 remote-reservoir shocks are race-proven and tune out of the box, with a Dual Speed Compression adjuster offering 10 low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels.

Notes
- Models with two-piece rear drive shafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit (BDS121612).
- Requires frame bracket modification.
- Disassembly/assembly of the factory torsion bar system requires the GM-specified unloading tool #CH48809.
- Compatible with diesel models ONLY. Works with standard or AT4 diesel models.
- Some minor trim will be required with certain wheel/tire combinations (typically the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of front bumper valance). Deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires reduce trimming.
- Factory 17-18 inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20 inch wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 37x12.50 tire.
- Vehicles regularly used in 4WD on the highway could experience a minor front driveline vibration; if so, replace the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.
- Coilover coil has a large amount of preload; a coil spring compressor must be used to remove the coil from the coilover. Failure to use one may result in death or injury.
- Do not increase coilover preload.
- For DRW models, use the w/ overload rear lift option.
- Will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models (lower control arm profile is different).

Durable
Honestly I didn't think this ball would last but 2 years later and only one battery change later and it is going strong. This ball has given me so much more time to play with my dog since I can throw the ball at night on short winter days I can't recommend it enough. I can throw the ball at night and my dog can find it in the dark. Add a collar LED and it's a funny light show of one light intercepting another.

Great for pm at the park!
This is alot like Nite Eyez but not as good but if you have never used Nite Eyez you will love this!! I have an am. staff that i take to the park at night so she can run around without the fear of a dog running up on her (she doesn't like that) and this ball is great! Stays lit and changes colors and it she cant destroy it!

Works Great!
This is a new version of an old style that was the best most durable, and long lasting night time balls!!! They stay on long enough for me to find if my lab cant find it. (We have an acre backyard and in ground swimming pool) sometimes I have to retrieve it. Stays on and auto shuts off after inactivity. They ARE waterproof and we play in the pool with them on night swims. My lab is very hard on balls, very few hold hold up to his chomping on them. Great balls!!

Great Idea but they will let you down eventually
I have used these for years during the winter. The price has nearly tripled but the longevity is the same. I normally purchase three with one being a spare. Within a few weeks they start going. I switch batteries etc but normally that does not help. Its a great idea and my dogs love them but they dont hold up to 10 minutes of play each nite. We do not throw them either, I roll them or kick them as my dogs are older
