This powered cradle has been designed to meet the demands of field workers in a variety of applications including transportation, field sales, logistics, manufacturing, and much more. Power capabilities are provided to the device through pogo pins. You can easily rotate the device for use in portrait or landscape mode. This cradle is also compatible with the RAM® Skin™ or factory device skin, as well as GDS® Hand-Stand™ and shoulder strap accessories. Access to the stylus remains while the device is docked.

Does this in fact come with the ball shown in the picture? I only ask because it is greyed out, like the tablet.
The RAM-202U (round base) is not included with the RAM-HOL-SAM60CPU and would need to be purchased separately.

No- this dock is not waterproof and dustproof. It's mostly used in indoor applications.
