Slechts 3% van deze herkomstbenaming is wit, maar zeker de moeite van het ontdekken waard. Montirius is al vijf generaties lang een familiebedrijf en is nu in handen van Christine en Eric Saurel. Het domein is vernoemd naar hun drie kinderen Manon, Justine en Marius. Het totale wijnoppervlak bestaat uit 58 hectare.

Zwaar oxidatieve witte Vacqueyras, met genoeg frisse zuren, stevige bitter. Complex.

De Vacqueyras AOC is vooral bekend om zijn rode wijn. Slechts 3% van deze herkomstbenaming is wit, maar zeker de moeite van het ontdekken waard. Montirius is al vijf generaties lang een familiebedrijf en is nu in handen van Christine en Eric Saurel. Het domein is vernoemd naar hun drie kinderen Manon, Justine en Marius. 

Het totale wijnoppervlak bestaat uit 58 hectare. Bodem van klei en kalk in de vorm van aarde en ronde keien. Drie percelen met wijnstokken van grenache blanc (45 jaar oud en geplant door de grootmoeder van Eric Saurel), roussanne (10 jaar oud) en bourboulenc (10 jaar oud, rijpt laat en is daardoor niet erg geliefd in de streek). Handmatige oogst en ontsteling.
