Cotoneaster procumbens ‘Queen of Carpet’ is een sterke, laagblijvende bodembedekker die snel een dichte, tapijtachtige mat vormt. Dankzij zijn kruipende groei is deze plant ideaal voor het bedekken van hellingen, randen en grotere oppervlakken in de tuin waar weinig onderhoud gewenst is.

In het voorjaar bloeit ‘Queen of Carpet’ met kleine witte bloemen die aantrekkelijk zijn voor bijen en andere bestuivers. In het najaar verschijnen decoratieve rode bessen die lang aan de plant blijven en zorgen voor extra kleur en sierwaarde in herfst en winter. Hierdoor blijft de plant het hele jaar door interessant.

Standplaats en verzorging
Cotoneaster procumbens ‘Queen of Carpet’ groeit op vrijwel alle grondsoorten en is zeer flexibel in gebruik. Hij gedijt zowel in zon als schaduw en is zeer onderhoudsarm. Indien nodig kan de plant in het vroege voorjaar (voor eind februari) licht worden teruggesnoeid om hem compact en in vorm te houden.

Disappointing Quality
I got these floating shelves with LED lights for my wife, and at first, they seemed like a great purchase. She was really excited about them, and they were surprisingly easy to install. Unfortunately, after just two days, the LED lights completely stopped working. It’s really disappointing because the shelves looked great initially, and the added lighting was a nice touch. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability. It’s frustrating when something you’re excited about doesn’t live up to its promise. While the shelves themselves are still usable, the main feature—LED lighting—is what made them special, and that feature failed. I wouldn’t recommend these based on our experience.

Easy to install. Just wanted something simple and inexpensive to liven up my back patio awning. I had them up in mere minutes with adhesive clips. My only complaint is that they are not as bright as one would expect LED lights to be. At night they to me provide more of a soft glow even at the brightest setting. I am not very certain whether they will stand up to hot desert heat. The instructions mentioned adhesive tape on the backs of each light, but there were none on the lights, nor in the box. I used my own. I will update my review after finding out if they do or not. I do like the remote feature however. They are just OK Update**Adhesive tapes were found which fell out of the box onto my floor, which I did not see. My fault. All good now.

Great idea!

Love the idea of these! Every year it’s such a pain to put up holiday lights that I avoid doing it until the last minute or at all (especially when the weather is yucky…). And I admittedly didn’t get these permanent outdoor lights installed before the holidays as originally planned, so can only speak to the functioning of the lights. I did test the lights and the app -- both functioned well and are easy to set up. I really like that the lights can be put on a timer via the app. Great light color choices as well. Very vibrant. When the weather warms up, I’ll be installing the lights permanently, and REALLY love that I can just keep them up year-round for Christmas, Valentines, Halloween, etc., as well as general every day use. I’ll update this review if installation is a problem, but I am pleased so far with these permanent outdoor lights.
