Château Haut-Blanville werd eind jaren negentig opgericht en is een familiebedrijf in Pézenas, buiten Montpellier. Bernard en Beatrice Nivollet verhuisden in 1995 vanuit Parijs naar de Languedoc om hun droom te verwezenlijken om wijnproducent te worden. Aangetrokken door de rijk verschillende bodems van de regio, vestigden ze zich op de appellatie Languedoc Grés de Montpellier. In de loop der jaren hebben ze geleidelijk een verzameling percelen wijnstokken in de hele regio geselecteerd en zorgvuldig opgebouwd. Ze brengen karakteristieke wijnen op de markt die een echte ontdekking zijn voor fijnproevers. Dit wereldberoemde Franse wijnhuis wordt niet alleen nationaal maar ook internationaal zeer gewaardeerd. De wijnperecelen van de Terroir des Peyrals strekken zich uit over meer dan negentien hectare kalksteenplateaus en hellingen op een hoogte van 250 tot 300 meter. Vanaf deze plek kijk je uit over de Etand de Thau en de Middellandse Zee in het zuiden. De hellingen kunnen profiteren van een zeebrief, aangevuld met wind uit het westen, het noorden en het noordoosten. De druiven wordt steevast geoogst in kleine hoeveelheden, wat neerkomt op ongeveer 20-40 hectoliter per hectare voor de witte druiven.Een volle krachtige Grande Cuvee
De druiven worden in de nacht machinaal geoogst en vervolgens zeer streng geselecteerd, zo haalt men alle rotte en slechte druiven er tussen uit. Alleen het beste sap is goed genoeg voor deze Grande Cuvee. Na de persing ondergaat deze witte wijn een houtlagering van acht maanden in eikenhouten vaten die liggen in de kelders van Chateau Haut Blanville. Het resultaat mag er zijn. In de geur echt een volle krachtige witte wijn met tonen van verse abrikozen, ingelegde perziken en vanille. De smaak is echt een plaatje, vol en aromatisch met een geweldige dikke structuur. Veel vers fruit van onder andere perzik en sinaasappel maar achter op de tong, eiken hout, vanille en gele room.Shipping Notes

Requires a very specific mug to be useful.

The hotplate itself gets hot enough on its highest setting where it would burn your finger if you left it one there for more then a couple seconds. However when it come to what mug you can use to transfer that heat to your drink, this WILL NOT work with just any old ceramic, metal or glass mugs. You absolutely need to have a perfectly flat bottom on it. If the center of the bottom of the mug does not make direct contact with the very center of the warmer, it will not transfer heat. So straight way plan of spending another $15 to $20. Amazon has some available with good reviews all be it not a very big selection. I'm giving this 4 stars because the description needs to be very clear about this and its not.

Great mug warmer with temp control

I replaced a cheap mug warmer with a couple of these for the house, and for almost the same price this is a lot more functional. I really like the temperature control and silicone surface protector. In combination with the carafe below, this has changed my life - no more microwaving coffee all morning.

Super Satisfied Customer Here!

I purchased the gold/black mug warmer. I always spend a good about of money for great coffee products and I take my time to perfect my coffee for my mornings at work. However, I get pulled into urgent meetings and just something urgent and I always leave more than half of my coffee behind. When I come back it’s cold and that’s very disappointing considering the money and time I spent to make it bc I then have to toss it. I don’t believe in microwaves and I refuse to use one. When I found this, I was super excited! It looks perfect at my desk and it works perfect! I would have liked it to be more on the brass gold like my pen holder, but it’s just as pretty! As you can see, my mug had a layer on the bottom and that made me think it may not work well, but it did the job. My coffee was super warm and it got even hotter as I left it there tearing it. I turned it one before making my coffee, so I’m not sure exactly how long it took to warm up but for me, by the time I got back, it was the peg temperature. I highly recommend this to anyone who has the same struggles. No more cold coffees! Thank you!!!

Simple & effective- Cold brew right at home!

This glass cold brew jar is exactly what I was looking for. It works really well, and I love that I can make cold brew at home instead of stopping out or buying expensive premade coffee from the store — it definitely saves money.
I also love that it comes with an oversized pipe cleaner to ensure you get all of this grounds out of the screen when you’re washing it.
The only small improvement is the filter screen. It works well overall, but a few minimal grounds do get through.
Overall, simple, effective, and a great way to make cold brew at home.
