De kunst van het vlechten, die de kunstenares tot een hoogtepunt heeft gebracht, transporteert touw naar een picturaal universum met art-deco-invloeden. Zowel vrij als minutieus onthult het zijn rondingen in creaties met grafische symbolen, ingewikkeld verweven motieven en geometrische composities in reliëf. Slingerende herhalingen zijn een kenmerk van Véroniques kenmerkende stukken, van het geduld dat door haar werk stroomt en de subtiele nuances van haar kleuren voor het interieur, waarvan sommige bijna lijken te glinsteren met metaal.
