Hoog tijd om deze AIX rosé Jeroboam 3 liter open te trekken. De vintage 2023 bestaat uit Shiraz, Grenache en Cinsault. De zomer van 2023 was perfect in de Provence. Door het goede weer konden de druiven goed rijpen en dat proef je! Trek die Jeroboam fles open en ervaar het zelf. Wanneer je AIX grote fles rosé in je glas schenkt heb je het al door. Dit is lekker. De kleur is prachtig licht zalm roze, een kleur die we van een goede Provence rosé verwachten. In de geur ontdekten wij een rijp boeket: rood fruit zoals aardbeien, frambozen en rode besjes. Maar ook frisse citrustonen en iets van bloesem. Wat ons tevens op viel is dat AIX enorm zuiver en super zacht is. Alleen al door ons neus te gebruiken kregen wij al zin in deze rosé uit de Provence. De smaak is subliem en superieur. Zuiver, verfijnd en elegant. Drie steekwoorden die ons meteen te binnen schoten bij het proeven van AIX. Diverse smaken vormen een prachtig smaakpallet in de mond: rood fruit, grapefruit, limoen, bloesem en zelfs iets van lavendel. Wij krijgen geen genoeg van deze nummer 1 dorstlesser uit de Provence. Naast het feit dat deze Aix 3 liter rosé heerlijk is wanneer we met onze voeten in het zand aan de zuid Franse kust zitten, is deze Aix wijn ook heerlijk te combineren met de mooiste gerechten. Denk hierbij aan een gerechten in verschillende fases tijdens het diner. Om te beginnen is een Salade van watermeloen of een frisse salade met kip mediterrane heerlijk. Liever deze Aix rosé 2023 bij een hoofdgerecht serveren? Geen probleem! Denk dat aan een heerlijke pasta met kip en pesto of licht gegrilde tonijn met sesam. Ook een heerlijke begeleider bij Sushi en Sashimi. Voor de liefhebbers van nagerechten kan ook wederom deze heerlijke rosé worden toegepast. Hiervoor zijn gerechten waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van rood fruit en wat citrus zeer goed geschikt. Obsessed. Soothing, effective, fragrance-free, incredibly healing
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I’ve been loving this so much I bought a second bottle after a few days of using it. It has all the skin soothing benefits of the tolerance lotion cleanser, but it’s also a really great cleanser. It’s almost not noticeable how good it is at cleansing because your skin doesn’t feel stripped after, but it takes things off really quickly. I was worried because it doesn’t foam a lot and it feels so nurturing — much like the tolerance lotion cleanser (which I use as a second cleanse when my skin needs a few days to recover from something like a derm office treatment) — but when I wash again with my favorite HG cleanser nothing extra comes off, and I tested it twice on waterproof eyeliner that I’d swiped on my forearm for an hour or so, the eyeliner dissolved and wiped off with two or three gentle swipes. It has a very emollient texture, so when you rub it against your skin it slips so easily you don’t realize it’s dissolving and taking things away because there is no friction. So it’s great at taking off makeup, it’s AMAZING at cleaning makeup brushes, and IT DOES NOT BURN MY EYES AT ALL. Also, it is FRAGRANCE-FREE… before I bought it I read a review complaining about smelling a citrus fragrance, that person either has some sort of brain tumor or something spilled on their bottle when it was in a warehouse because this is definitely a fragrance-free product.
Prior to trying this, I had tried another cleanser that gave me weird acne hives all over my chest (never happened to me before) and I was struggling to heal the acne and the irritation. I noticed an immediate difference when I started using the tolerance cleanser on it; the fresh redness went away, the acne started healing, and the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has been healing fast. So I’ve been using this on my body as well and it’s soothing and moisturizing in all the places where other things have been drying. I have mild rosacea and I hadn’t realized how irritated my skin was from the last thing I’d tried until after 5 days or so of using this my skin tone looked much more even and the stubborn PIH I have from a two-zit hormonal breakout a month ago finally looked dramatically lighter (as recently as the week before, I’d needed to cover them with high-coverage concealer).
Because this doesn’t foam much, some people might not realize how well it’s cleaning… I encourage you to judge it based on how your skin looks and feels. Since it is very emollient though, I do think it’s important to use it with a face wash scrubber or washcloth just to ensure you’re getting some mild mechanical exfoliation and clearing away skin cells that could be trapping stuff in your pores. For this reason, I do wash my face with this twice so the first wash can get off makeup/debris/oil and then the second wash can really penetrate and clean my skin.

No Scent and Gentle

I broke out in a case of Perioral Dermatitis recently and bought this product to help before I could see my doctor. Avene Tolerance facial cleanser has no scent and is very gentle on my skin. It didn’t burn when washing with this product, and even helped to slough off the dead skin around my lips. My face feels clean, not dry. I am still going to see my doc to get an RX for the inflammation, but I do believe this product helped to alleviate the dryness and tightness of my skin and lips. I’ve used other Avene products and I’m very happy with them. Even though these products are more expensive, to me they are well worth the money because they are much more gentle on the skin than any other products I’ve used. I will buy this product again just because of the fact that it’s so gentle. PS: at the time of purchase for this product, I also bought Avene’s Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream (you don’t need to use a lot of this one on your entire face), and Avene’s Cicalfate for lips. Between these 3 products, my lips and skin feel a lot better (however, I will still see my doctor because I have Crohn’s Disease and Perioral Dermatitis is considered an extra-intestinal side effect of Crohn’s).

Gentle everyday cleanser!
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
My go to nightly cleanser! Gentle yet effective. Removes makeup without leaving any residue behind. Also does not dry out my skin or cause breakouts! I would say it’s more of a cream cleanser though. It does not really foam up. It’s a decent size bottle for the price. The pump dispenser is an added plus!

So gentle and moisturizing. Great for super sensitive skin.

This is so gentle and moisturizing. Does not irritate my skin in any way. My skin is super sensitive and I have atopic dermatitis, it has been the best cleanser I’ve used to date. I was using another one from this brand and it was fine but this is the one I will continually stick with from now on. Just hope they don’t change the formula.
