Wil je je creativiteit verder ontwikkelen en nieuwe schildertechnieken leren? Doe mee met de Mixed Media Schildercursus! Deze creatieve cursus van 10 lessen start in mei 2027 en is geschikt voor zowel beginners als gevorderden.

Tijdens deze mixed media schildercursus leer je werken in lagen en ontdek je hoe je verschillende materialen en technieken met elkaar kunt combineren. Je experimenteert met kleur, textuur en compositie en ontwikkelt stap voor stap je eigen stijl. Elke les werk je met een nieuwe techniek of materiaal, waardoor je steeds opnieuw wordt uitgedaagd.

Heb je al eerder meegedaan aan deze cursus? Dan kun je opnieuw instromen. Je werkt zelfstandig met de aanwezige materialen en kunt gebruikmaken van een ezel of tafel. Liever werken met een thema? Er liggen altijd inspiratie kaarten klaar voor wie wat extra houvast zoekt. En mocht je een keer gewoon met de les mee willen doen, dan mag dat natuurlijk ook. In Zeist is er bovendien ook een Open Atelier op dinsdagochtend.

Wat leer je in deze cursus mixed media schildertechnieken?

  • Werken met verschillende materialen en combinatietechnieken
  • Inzicht in kleurenleer en het maken van kleurcombinaties
  • Compositie en beeldopbouw
  • Intuïtief en expressief werken
  • Materiaalkennis: acrylverf, gesso, inkt, collage, krijt en diverse mediums
  • Schilderijen opbouwen in lagen, met aandacht voor structuur en balans

Je werkt op stevig papier van circa 25 x 35 cm. Aan het einde van de cursus heb je een persoonlijk naslagwerk vol technieken, ideeën en inspiratie. Na elke les bespreken we kort het gemaakte werk en krijg je uitleg over de volgende les.

Materialen

De meeste materialen zijn inbegrepen bij de cursus. Voor de online cursus kijk dan hier: Online cursus. Graag het volgende zelf meenemen voor de cursus in Zeist en Haarlem:

  • Plat penseel (2-1,5 cm breed, synthetisch), eventueel kleinere penselen voor details
  • Schort of trek oude kleding aan
  • Schaar
  • Plastic ter bescherming van de tafel (bijv. vuilniszak)
  • Schilderstape (ongeveer 1 cm breed)
  • Natte doekjes (bijv. babydoekjes)
  • Oude doek of keukenpapier
  • Bord met huishoudfolie als palet
  • Optioneel: je favoriete kleuren acrylverf, inkt

Cursusopbouw

De mixed media schildercursus is verdeeld in drie blokken van elk 10 lessen: geel, rood en blauw (2x 5 lessen). Elk blok bevat unieke opdrachten en technieken, waaronder altijd een les op textiel. Je kunt op elk moment instromen, de volgorde is niet belangrijk. De kleurnamen dienen alleen als aanduiding van het programma.

Pretty, comfortable bra; small issue with cup structure

This is the first underwire bra I’ve worn in about six years - I’ve been wearing sport bras, so I wasn’t sure I’d like it. This bra is pad free, lightweight, and made of very pretty lace. When I put it on, the underwire was not uncomfortable, and the bra itself fit relatively well. I was surprised that the band in the back was also comfortable, not digging into my skin. The bra is well-made with one exception. I think the top of the cup requires more structure. I feel that it’s a little too loose and the contents will fall out if I was to lean over too far or if I were to run or do anything slightly athletic. I like the bra - it’s comfortable and pretty but it has that one issue with the cup structure. I’ve decided that this would not be a good bra to wear all day, but because it is so pretty, I would wear it with evening wear only.

This one is a keeper…

Bra shopping is truly one of my least favorite things to do, and it is always so frustrating to me. Online bra shopping tends to be even worse, so I had little hope for this bra but took a chance anyway. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! A true test for me is whether or not I notice I’m wearing it. I’ve worn it off and on for several days and I totally forget about it. Having nurses two babies and approaching my 40s, my girls need a lot of support and this bra delivered. I thankfully discovered years ago that if you have deflated mom boobs, an unlined cup is the best way to take what you have and give it shape. This one does just that. I have very mixed feelings on the lace though. On the one hand, it is sexy and feminine and I don’t find that in bras very much anymore (at least not ones that provide the kind of lift and support that I require). However, the lace is very noticeable through a shirt. I really can only wear this bra with a thick top or sweater. Otherwise, it’s just too noticeable and I’m not comfortable with that. Wearing a cami underneath a top helps slightly though. Overall, I’m glad I have this bra and I’ll be ordering another color. It feels well made, the material is nice, and it gives my bust a shapely (and youthful 😭) appearance. I wore it all day in 90+ heat at Magic Kingdom and it didn’t bother me at all, so it definitely qualifies as lightweight and comfortable in my book. I took a stab at a size and the 36D feels right. I *maybe* could have gotten a 34 but the 36 doesn’t feel loose on the tightest loops. On occasion, depending on the brand, I can be either a D or DD. I think this is worth trying and looks more expensive than it really is!

Gorgeous Bra, But My Chest Declined the Opportunity

This bra is genuinely beautiful and very well made. The fabric, stitching, and overall construction felt much more expensive than I expected. Unfortunately, my body once again reminded me that I am apparently not built according to standard human engineering specs. Every few years I convince myself, “Surely this time I am a normal-sized woman who can wear regular bras.” Then I order one designed for actual flesh-bearing individuals and reality humbles me immediately. The cups stood there optimistically waiting to be filled while my chest contributed little to the project. The straps also kept sliding off my narrow shoulders like they were trying to escape the situation entirely. None of this is the bra’s fault. The fabric is soft, silky, and looks like money. It's just as pretty as the photos. The straps appear as though they could support a lot for a long time. The bra did its job. My body simply refused to participate. If you have average proportions and shoulders that can support standard straps, this is probably a fantastic purchase. I, however, must return to my specialized tiny-person undergarments and accept my fate.
