We hebben deze wijn te danken aan Nuria Altes die uit passie een mooi project startte. De basis van de wijnen zijn hun zeer hoge kwaliteit, er wordt alles aan gedaan om de hoge kwaliteit te kunnen behalen. Waarbij alleen het beste van het beste goed genoeg is. Het project van de Catalaanse Nuria Altes is genaamd Herencia Altes. Zij wilde Terra Alta, wat toch wel het vergeten gebied van Catalonië is, nieuw leven inblazen. De druiven komen van de biologische wijngaarden bij Batea, een dorp dat goed is voor vijftig procent van de totale aanplant van DO Terra Alta. Het klimaat is mediterraan met een continentale invloed. Deze zorgt voornamelijk voor koele winters waarbij twee sterke winden de boel overdag goed afkoelen. Zo verliezen de druiven hun zuurgraad niet en kunnen ze perfect rijpen.12 maanden houtlagering voor La Serra Blanc
Ze worden handmatig geoogst en in dozen van 18 kilo verplaats naar de wijnkelder. De druiven worden direct geselecteerd in de wijngaarden. Zodra de druiven bij de wijnmakerij aankomen, worden ze 24 uur gekoeld op drie tot vijf graden. Ze fermenteren in eikenhouten vaten bij ongeveer 13 tot 15 graden. Tot slot een Batonnage voor twee maanden en twaalf maanden gerijpt in eikenhouten vaten. Herencia Altés La Serra Blanc is een krachtige, complexe en aanhoudende wijn. Hij kleurt felgeel in het glas. Hij heeft aroma’s van noten van geconcentreerd wit fruit en die worden gecombineerd met de geroosterde aroma's van veroudering. One sitting read

I think I might have a thing for text message chains and love letters.
This book is full of witty, sexy banter. My personal faves.
Colin: What would you do if you accidentally texted the wrong person something naughty, and they responded in a way that surprised you? You were so intrigued that you kept coming back to this faceless number. She's sexy, straightforward, effortlessly funny, and you can't stop thinking about her. And then you realize this mystery woman is none other than your unwanted roommate and best friend's sister. She's a dumpster fire in real life, but what if there was more to it than that?
Olivia: Who hasn't started an apartment complex on fire, lost their job, and forced to move back home and live with their brother and his insufferable best friend? Add in some mismatched socks, and this is a typical Tuesday night for Olivia.
I devoured this book.
I opened it thinking I would read a few chapters and fall asleep. 4 hours later, I finished it. IN.ONE.SITTING.

Really good! Could have had 5 stars but…

I thought this book was an easy and entertaining read. The MCs had some depth, and the angsty lead up to these two colliding was very well done. I love them together, I felt their chemistry, and this book could have had five stars if it wasn’t for the weirdly rushed and unbelievable way the ending was written. The back and forth was ridiculous and it seems she can’t change the way she has originally perceived him - as a rich, pompous jerk (despite only having his expensive kitchenware and childhood snark as her evidence). Then we are supposed to believe that out of no where, for no reason (apart from finding out he’s moving) she suddenly wants him back? And then despite how hurtful her words had been, he takes her back? Idk this ending was messy, and there didn’t seem to be enough written or enough plot for any of this to be believable. I won’t disregard the entire story because I didn’t like the ending, but I do wish it had been better.
